Agnes, in your opinion, what is the indispensable item for our juniors this spring?
The absolute star for juniors returning from spring holiday – but also for younger family members – is the blouson, for girls as well as boys.
The key word for the silhouette it designs is « easy life »:
In cotton cloth with ribbing at the bottom, or in dark blue or bleached denim, it « de-dramatizes » chic and timeless silhouettes.
In colored nylon or black, it accentuates a sporty urban look, in combination with « dropped » jeans that crumple up on boys’ legs.
In leather, biker style, it reinforces a « little adult » allure for the more fashionable
A hybrid notion is still prevalent: the blouson is worked with « jean » codes, but in fleece; and the perfecto is in coated cotton.
There exists one small exception for girls to this blouson avalanche: the trench coat in plain or printed vinyl, shiny and structured in retro 60’s style.
Worn on all garment styles, it can be fun to use the off-beat notions and new allures the blouson provides.
Last point: for Baby, what is the absolute must?
For this summer season, the must for Baby is the knit, mainly in cotton. You find it in medium gauges, with a « hand-knitted » look in plain jersey or with an engineered jacquard pattern; newest is the ultra light, fine and airy gauge, very influenced by adult brands.
