Hugo Boss Prize 2016 : la liste des nominés dévoilée

En partenariat avec le musée et la fondation Salomon R. Guggenheim, le Hugo Boss Prize, qui fête son 20e anniversaire cette année, sera remis fin octobre à l'un des artistes suivants : Tania Bruguera, Mark Leckey, Ralph Lemon, Laura Owens, Wael Shawky et Anicka Yi.

Le lauréat, dont l'oeuvre d'art contemporain sera considérée comme des plus innovantes et influentes, sera récompensé d'une prime de 100.000 dollars.

Présidé par Nancy Spector, directrice adjointe, Jennifer et David Stockman, conservateurs en chef de la fondation Solomon R. Guggenheim, le jury est composé de Katherine Brinson, conservatrice pour l’art contemporain à la fondation Salomon R. Guggenheim, Dan Byers, conservateur pour la famille Mannion à l’institut d’art contemporain de Boston, Elena Filipovic, directrice et conservatrice en chef du Kunsthalle Basel, Michelle Kuo, rédactrice en chef du Artforum International, et Pablo Leon de la Barra, conservateur au musée Salomon R.Guggenheim au département Amérique latine pour le programme Guggenheim UBS Map.
